lyrics

Blast off, rocket into space, but that's not the tale that takes. On every screen and every page just your latest trip's the rage. Up there floating in the stars, with your world-class view of Mars, still not immune to jealousy, anger and humanity. Mad dash, driving in a rush, spaced out, school girl crush. Late night, undercover to oust the other of your lover. The eagle lands, it's got a thorny nest. Prey pounce and predict the rest. Whole life is reduced to diapers and hypotenuse.

And she's driving all night to Orlando. She is writing a storyline nobody could foresee. Though she's graced the heavens seen by a hundred millionth a percent, she is grounded by the forces of our earthly gravity. She is driving all night to Orlando. She's writing a story even Disney won't believe. Now she's pleading a case for her freedom. All that's left is the argument for loss of faculties. (I love him, and where he goes I’ll follow. He’ll always be my true love. I’ll be with him forever.)

And gave them a banjo, a double-necked guitar, some pedals, and an accordion to play with while they were in there. ... more
